Obtaining Your Forklift License or Refresher Course

Learn to drive a forklift and secure your forklift licence with the proper training and lessons here at the Ultimate Driving School.

Duration: 2 days (6 hours per day)

This Forklift Licence training course is designed for those who wish to learn the necessary skills to drive a forklift and apply for a Forklift Licence.

Pre-requisites

Participants must be over 18 years of age, and provide proof of identity prior to commencing the course.

• Operating procedures
• Safe work practices
• Fork Lift Truck Components
• Fork Lift Truck Dynamics
• Fork Lift Truck Characteristics
• Pre-operational checks
• Identification and avoidance of hazards
• Operators duties and resposibilites
• Workcover Forklift trucks used in all training
• Fork Lift truck licence test

Assessment

In order to meet Workcover licence standards, participants must:

a) Pass a written knowledge test

b) Complete a number of practical tests, such as driving and operating a forklift and lifting.

Participants who pass the assessment will be issued with the

• A notice of satisfactory assessment ( NSA)
• The NSA , Applicant and fees etc. must be lodged with australia post within 60 days
• Applicants can operate under an NSA for 60 days
