Forklift Operator Renewal Licence Training – Assessment and Correction

This Forklift Licence Assessment Correction training course is designed for participants who already hold a forklift operators licence. The course will identify driver strengths and weaknesses and assess skills and knowledge when operating a forklift. Corrective action will be taken to identify and correct any gap in skills and/or performance.
Pre-requisites

Participants must hold a current forklift operator licence prior to commencing the course.
Course Content

This course can be tailored to address the requirements of each individual group, company or skill gaps. The course is delivered using the following subjects as a basis, and time allocated to re-iterate any identified skill gaps. – Fork Lift Truck Components
– Fork Lift Truck Dynamics
– Fork Lift Truck Characteristics
– Workcover Forklift regulations
– Pre-operational checks
– Identification and avoidance of hazards
– Operators duties and responsibilities
– Performance correction
– Feedback and reporting
– Assessment

At the beginning of the course each participant will be assessed and rated on a number of components. These same components are re-rated at the end of the course. A report for both the participants and his/her employer will be supplied showing these results, and recommendations for improvements or further training.
